Come slow down, get a little messy, and discover the joy of working with clay in a small, welcoming pottery studio in Pawling, NY. These workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed, and supportive. You’ll receive plenty of personalized guidance while having the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, laugh, and discover what you can create. And yes—you may even hear the chickens clucking nearby while you work! No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play with clay. 🌀 5-SESSION POTTERY WORKSHOP Five 2-hour sessions • 10 hours of hands-on instruction Over five sessions, you'll build your skills step-by-step while creating your own handmade pottery. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN Introduction to stoneware clay Wedging and preparing clay Centering on the wheel Opening, pulling, and shaping Creating and refining forms Trimming and finishing Building confidence, control, and consistency Learning to embrace the process—and the occasional wonky pot! YOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES 10 hours of personalized instruction Stoneware clay Use of pottery wheels and studio equipment Bisque firing Your completed pieces returned to you after bisque firing Glazes and glaze firing are available for an additional fee. CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE PRIVATE • 1 PERSON $750 5 sessions • $150 per session Personalized one-on-one instruction and plenty of time at the wheel. DUET • 2 PEOPLE $850 5 sessions • $85 per person/session Bring a friend, partner, or family member and learn together! TRIO • 3 PEOPLE $1125 5 sessions • $75per person/session A fun, creative experience to share with friends. 🌿 COME AS YOU ARE You don't need to be an artist. You don't need to know what you're doing. And you definitely don't need to make a perfect pot. We'll learn together, experiment, get messy, and have fun along the way.
