Born and raised by the sea in the magical town of Sag Harbor on the very Eastern End of Long Island is where I draw so much of my inspiration from. The sea often seems to emerge in one way or another in my dreamscapes. It is the creative process itself that I enjoy the most. Sharing this with others lead me to enter the field of art education where I hope to inspire others to discover their mediums and creative voices. My students provide me with endless interpretations of the world, joy and wonder. I feel so fortunate every single day to be doing what I am passionate about. I have pursued my life changing experiences as an artist by studying at Orsoni Tile Factory in Venice and with artist Isaiah Zagar creator of the Philadelphia Magic Gardens.
My most recent endeavor is the creation of The heART Project, a community arts program that aspires to bring communities together through the creation of mosaic murals.
I am a participating member of the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and Arts Alliance program pairing artists with local venues to share the arts in public spaces.
